Ukrainian steelmakers in January-July exported ferrous metals worth $4.749 billion, with their share in the country’s exports at 19.91%, according to the State Fiscal Service (SFS).
Exports of metal wares totaled $476.9 million, accounting for 2% of the country’s total exports, the SFS said.
Ukraine shipped abroad ferrous metals worth $667.7 million in July alone, while metal wares exports totaled $75.5 million.
At the same time, imports of ferrous metals (in monetary terms) amounted to $606 million over seven months, whereas those of metal wares were estimated at $426.9 million. (UNIAN/Ukrainian metal)
