Siberia Mining and Metallurgical Alliance (SiGma) will put the first stage of Ozernovsky Mining Works with the capacity of 100 thousand tons of ore or 2 tons of gold per year into operation in December.
According to the company CEO Dmitry Filichkin, by September the works will have received all the machinery. In October-November it will be assembled and tested. By the end of the year the company intends to have produced 100-150 kg of gold. Earlier SiGma planned to produce 400 kg of gold in 2017.
The Ozernovskoye ore field reserves are estimated at 5253.5 thousand tons of ore, 80257 kg of gold and 79.9 tons of silver. The company license to develop the deposits is valid till July 2030. (Ukrainian metal)
