In January-May Chukotka autonomous district mined 9812 kg of ore gold and 340 kg of silver, down by 12% and by 13% YoY respectively. Alluvial gold was not produced.
At present 5 companies mine for gold. Chukotka Mining Company mined 3946 kg of gold (down by 10.5%) and 49.3 tons of silver. Severnoye Zoloto mined 3197 kg of gold and 5.2 tons of silver, down by 16% and by 30% YoY respectively.
Valunisty Mine LLC yielded 327 kg of gold and 2.8 tons of silver, down by 3.5% and by 15.2% YoY respectively.
Karalveem Mine produced 547 kg of gold and 0.059 tons of silver, down by 11% and by 26.3%.
And only gold company Mayskoye LLC, a part of Polymetal, increased output by 29.5% YoY, to 793 kg of gold. The company does not mine for silver. (Ukrainian metal)
