For the first time TMK-INOX produced a batch of electric-welded stainless (austenitic) steel pipes to be used under high pressure in aggressive environment requiring high corrosion-resistance, the company’s media office reports.
Manufacture of new size-types of electric-welded stainless steel pipes along with the regular range is part of import substitutions program. TMK-INOX is one of the largest Russian producers of stainless steel pipes compliant with international standards.
“Mastering production of stainless steel pipes is an important stage in extending TMK-INOX range of products. With intake of orders the company will continue mastering new size-types of tubes. Extending the line of products allows TMK-INOX ramp up output of the products in demand”, said V. Gagarinov, TMK-INOX General Manager and Sinara Pipes Works Managing Director.
TMK-INOX specializes in manufacture of stainless steel and alloy tubes and pipes at one of Sinara Pipes Plants. The company produces seamless hot- and cold-formed as well as welded tubes and pipes in compliance with DIN EN, ASTM as well as Russian standards and technical requirements.
