Russian oil and gas pipe maker TMK has launched a 5.5-billion ruble heat-treatment complex at pipe-rolling unit No. 1 of the Sverdlovsk region-based Seversky Pipe Plant, the company said in a statement on January 30.

The capacity of the up-to-date complex created in association with state-owned nanotechnology company Rusnano is up to 300,000 tons annually. The facility is intended for pipes with a diameter of 168-370 millimeter and the wall thickness of 6.4-40 millimeter. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
