On May 15 the government of India imposed final antidumping duties for 5 years on some types of cold-rolled metal originating from Ukraine, South Korea, China and Japan.

The duty is the difference between the customs cost of the cold-rolled steel and $576 per ton.

The investigation was started on the request of Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), JSW Steel Ltd, Essar Steel India Ltd and JSW Steel Coated Products Ltd, which produce over half of all the cold-rolled metal in India.

Zaporizhstal is affected by these duties as it supplies metal to India via Metinvest International. (Ukrainian metal)
