In January-February Russia imported 252 thousand tons of steel products from Ukraine, up 2.2-fold YoY.

According to the Federal Customs Service, the cost of imports reached $150 million, up 3.2-fold YoY.

Flat rolled steel accounts for 50% of imports, up 1.64-fold YoY, with value up 3.3-fold. 40% falls on shapes and bars (up 4.5-fold and 5-fold). Steel pipes imports share is much lower – 9.4% (up by 23.3% and by 55.3%). (Ukrainian metal)
