According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, in January-March Russia produced 14.6 million tons of rolled metal, up by 2.5% YoY.
Pig iron manufacture dropped by 1.1%, to 13 million tons, while that of pipes increased by 10%, to 1.5 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
