EvrazHolding marketing and aftersales department director Valentin Krizsky believes that rebars consumption in 2017 will grow by 8% YoY, to 6827 thousand tons.
As of April rebars consumption is on the level of 536 thousand tons per month, up from 446 thousand tons in February and 511 thousand tons in March.
Consumption of structural shapes will remain on the 2016 level (1.7 million tons), while sections consumption in construction will increase by 4%. In April structural shapes consumption is 149 thousand tons (156 thousand tons in February and 149 thousand tons in March). (Ukrainian metal)
