The Ministry of energy and coal ministry on its next meeting has to present its strategy of the mine development.
“We have to finally create our own program of restructuring and modernizing mines and the coalmining industry. We didn’t have such a program before. I suggested creating a strategy of the mines development”, the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman said.
According to him, the budget has 1.8 billion UAH for restructuring and modernizing of the mines.
“But if we spend all this money to pay salary there, where the prime cost of coal is 2-3 times higher than the prices on the free market, than this is the road to nowhere. We have to change the working conditions of miners, increase safety and use new technology”, the Prime Minister noted. (Ukrainian metal)
