Gold output in Russia has been growing for 7 years in a row.

In 2016 it increased by 1.2% YoY, to 297.4 tons. This year it is planned to mine 304-405 tons.

Several regions provided for the growth of the output: Krasnoyarsk Krai increased gold production by 5%, to 52 tons, Magadan region – by 17%, to 27 tons, Zabaikalye region – by 8%, to 12 tons. Kamchatka demonstrated the best increase of 75%, but rather modest results – 6.3 tons.

In 2017 the average gold price is forecast at $1270. (Ukrainian metal)
