In 2016 Severstal Distribution sales increased by 6% YoY, to 1.545 million tons.
Last year the companies of the network sold 14% of all the Severstal Russian Steel products.
Half of the total volume, or 756 thousand tons of metal, was delivered to Russian customers. The North-Western Federal district companies sold 47% of the total volume in Russia. Central Federal district enterprises supplied one fourth. The rest was sold in Privolzhye and Southern Federal districts.
EU markets occupy a share of 44% in the Severstal Distribution sales – 678 thousand tons. The Eastern European countries (Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) accounted for half of this volume; one third went to the Baltic States, and the rest to Finland, Sweden and Germany.
Deliveries to Belarus and Ukraine reached 111 thousand tons, or 7% of the total sales. (Ukrainian metal)
