The stainless steel of the Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works, a part of Mechel, will be used to construct a complex of uranium-plutonium fuel manufacture.

The complex is being constructed under the Proryv (Breakthrough) project of the Rosatom state corporation on the site of the Siberian Chemical Works in Tomsk region.

ChMK will supply stainless steel sheets of various thicknesses and with various parameters depending on usage. The first batch has already been produced and shipped. (Ukrainian metal)
