In 2016 Interpipe sold 572 thousand tons of products, down by 5% YoY.
According to the company statement, pipe sales dropped by 10%, while wheel sales went up by 22%. The export share in sales reached 75%.
Interpipe sold 458 thousand tons of pipes in 2016. Ukraine and Europe saw the highest growth in consumption. Interpipe supplied 118 thousand tons to the local market (108 thousand tons in 2015) and 124 thousand tons to Europe (111 thousand tons).
American markets sales remained on the previous year level. Near East decreased purchases form 85 thousand tons to 69 thousand tons.
CIS imported 104 thousand tons in 2016 as opposed to 153 thousand tons in 2015.
Wheel sales increased by 22% YoY, to 114 thousand tons. The highest growth was observed on the local market thanks to Ukrzaliznytsia repairing its rolling stock. Wheel sales in Ukraine increased from 16 thousand tons in 2015 to 24 thousand tons on 2016.
Europe’s share decreased to 18% from 31% in 2015. (Ukrainian metal)
