In January-November 2016 Russia exported 78.3 thousand tons of stainless steel scrap and wastes valued at $77.3 million, up by 13.3% YoY, but down by 1.8% YoY respectively.

8% and more nickel-content scrap accounts for 64% of the exports.

In November 2016 Russia exported 9.3 thousand tons of this scrap, down by 11% MoM. Some 56% of exports headed to the Netherlands, up by 11.5% YoY. In November 2016 the average cost of scrap for the Netherlands was $940.4 per ton.

Poland holds the second position with 15% of the total exports, down by 9.2% YoY. The average price was $781 per ton.

Then comes Germany (13%) with $1053 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
