Severstal-Metiz has put into operation a new drawing mill, thus completing the third stage of the equipment modernization.
Investments in the new machinery amount to 600 million rubles so far.
The new site, consisting of 12 units of equipment, was opened on January 30. As the result of the three stages of modernization the shop has received 27 new drawing mills.
The modernization will increase output and will enable the company to start manufacturing new types of products, while improving their quality.
Thanks to the first two stages of modernization, galvanized wire output hit a record of 9167 tons in May 2016. (Ukrainian metal)
