Detectives of the National Anticorruption Bureau have detained the acting chairman of the board of the United Mining and Chemical Company suspected of damaging the enterprise to the amount of 300 million UAH.

According to the State Registry, the UMCC acting chairman is Ruslan Zhurylo.

UMCC started operating in August 2014, when the government transferred under its management the assets of Volnogorsk Iron and Steel Works and Irshansk Mining and Processing Works. The company also manages 51% of Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Works. (Ukrainian metal)
