NLMK Group, an international steelmaking company with operations in Russia, Europe and the USA, announces the appointment of Cornelius Louwrens the CEO of NLMK Belgium Holdings plate business. It includes two of NLMK Group’s European sites: NLMK Clabecq (Belgium) and NLMK Verona (Italy), and together with NLMK DanSteel (Denmark), comprises the NLMK Europe Plate Division.
Cornelius Louwrens will continue as member of the Management Board and Director of Operational Efficiency for NLMK International B.V., a holding company for NLMK’s international assets.
Igor Sarkits, who previously held the position of CEO of NLMK Europe Plate, has been assigned the function of Industrial Development Director in NLMK International B.V. He will also take the position of CEO of NLMK DanSteel.
Changes will also be made to the management structure of other international sites. At the end of January, Giovanni Borinelli will take over from Marcello Calcagni as General Manager of NLMK Verona. Yarak Yarak, previously General Manager of NLMK Coating (France), has been appointed General Manager of NLMK Clabecq.
