In January-August Ukraine exported 27.25 million tons of iron ore and concentrate valued at $1.13 billion.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the largest importers of Ukrainian iron ore were China ($435.44 million, or 38.51% of the total volume), Czech Republic ($119.34 million, 10.55%) and Poland ($109.35 million, 9.67%). Iron ore share in the total exports reached 4.98%.

At the same time Ukraine imported 1.43 million tons of iron ore and concentrate valued at $59.8 million. The largest supplier was Russia ($59.79 million, or 99.97%). Iron ore import share totaled 0.25%. (Ukrainian metal)
