Zaporizhstal has invested 630 million UAH in new gas-purifying systems at its sintering machines No. 3-6 and has started construction at the SM6.
The foundation works have been completed, over 300 tons of metal structures have been erected, gas-purifying equipment at sintering machine No. 6 is being assembled.
This is the last sintering machine at the works to receive new gas-purifier. Since 2013 Zaporizhstal has assembled gas-purifying equipment at sintering machines No. 1 and 2. Gas-purifiers at SM3-5 operate in trial mode.
The equipment is supplied by the major Ukrainian manufacturer – Berdyansk Machine-Building Works “Progress”, with draught equipment supplied by REITZ (Germany). (Ukrainian metal)
