The Eurasian Economic Commission local market protection department has decided to start an antidumping investigation in respect of hot-rolled steel angles, originating from Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The investigation was started on the basis of requests from Evraz ZSMK and NTMK, supported by MMK and Severstal.
According to the department, in 2013-2015 and in July 2015 – March 2016, the average cost of hot-rolled steel angles originating in Ukraine was lower than that of EEU produced angles. The price difference grew 3.9 times from 2013 to 2015, and 1.9 times in July 2015 – March 2016 YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
