In January-June ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih produced 2.86 million tons of rolled metal, up by 5.6% YoY.
According to the company statement, steel smelting went up by 6.2% YoY, to 3.26 million tons, while pig iron output reached 3.08 million tons, up by 13.7% YoY. Sinter output increased by 11.6%, to 5.37 million tons, iron ore – by 17.5%, to 497 thousand tons, coke – by 9.7%, to 1.01 million tons, all YoY. At the same time the company produced 4.69 million tons of concentrate, down by 5.9% YoY.
In June AMKR produced 451 thousand tons of rolled metal, 528 thousand tons of pig iron, 892 thousand tons of sinter, 163 thousand tons of coke, 85 thousand tons of iron ore and 696 thousand tons of concentrate, as opposed to 509, 600, 576, 925, 176, 89 and 707 thousand tons in May respectively.
