The Ministry of energy and coal industry suggests giving 1.3 billion UAH in 2017 to finance coal industry.
850 million UAH will be given as subsidies to state mines, while 450 million will be spent on the closing down of profitless coal companies, according to the minister Igor Nasalik.
In January-May Ukrainian mines yielded 16.29 million tons of coal, up by 1.5% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
