Railroad transportation in the ATO zone has been renewed which allowed metal companies there to start working again.
On June 13, Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works put the blast furnace into operation. Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works used to operate only one blast furnace but now intends to put the second one into operation as well.
Donetskstal is still idle, and its blast furnace is cold.
Alchevsk Works has been idle since May 30, while Donetsk Iron and Steel Works stopped one of the blast furnaces on June 1 and another on June 9.
Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works had to decrease output, while its Makeevka subsidiary was on halt. (Ukrainian metal)
