A people’s deputy Sergey Taruta supports limitations of ferrous scrap exports from Ukraine.
According to him, scrap deficiency could halt manufacturing process at iron and steel works and increase social tension in the East of Ukraine.
“Social stability in Mariupol and other cities with major iron and steel works depends on their output. 1.2 million Ukrainians are engaged in metal industry. Uncontrolled export of scrap, the main raw materials for the industry, threatens the works”, said Taruta. (Ukrainian metal)
