Interpipe has changed its approach to supplying scrap to Interpipe Steel.
The new model presupposes dividing scrap procurement and processing. Now purchasing and logistics director Evgeny Gorodetsky will be responsible for scrap procurement.
Interpipe Dniepropetrovsk Vtormet will process the scrap.
“It was a logical move to give scrap procurement to the purchasing director. For the past two years we were able to increase purchasing department efficiency. Now scrap is their professional challenge”, said the company CEO Oleg Rosenberg. (Ukrainian metal)
