In January-November Azovstal Iron and Steel Works, a part of Metinvest, produced 2.76 million tons of rolled metal, down by 8.6% YoY.
Steel manufacture decreased by 9%, to 3.03 million tons, while that of pig iron – by 2.64 million tons.
Because of the sinter shop shut down, the works didn’t produce any sinter.
In November Azovstal produced 173 thousand tons of rolled metal, 185 thousand tons of steel and 173 thousand tons of pig iron as opposed to 285, 315 and 278 thousand tons in October respectively.
In January-October the works consumed 249 million cubic meters of natural gas, down by 14% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
