Metinvest-SMC, the Metinvest metal center network, believes rolled metal consumption in 2016 would increase by 2.6% YoY, to 3.35 million tons.
“We expect a slight increase next year. We have to be optimists and hope for better times”, said the company CEO Dmitry Lippa.
The expert said, metal constructions manufacture would grow by 1.7%, to 210 thousand tons, while metal wares would show a 2.5% rise, to 347 thousand tons.
In 2015 steel demand in Ukraine would fall by 23% YoY, to 3.27 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
