In January Ukrainian ferroalloy companies produced 82.6 thousand tons of ferroalloys, down by 0.5% YoY.
According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, silicomanganese output went up by 9.1%, to 68 thousand tons, while that of ferromanganese decreased by 20.8%, to 6.1 thousand tons, and of ferrosilicon (45%) – by 43.8%, to 7.3 thousand tons.
Companies also produced 1.2 thousand tons of metallic manganese. In January 2014 it was not produced.
