In January-October, Ukraine increased ferroalloys output by 12.2% YoY, to 723 thousand tons.
Ferrosilicon manufacture grew by 41%, to 70.84 thousand tons, and metallic manganese – 2.54-fold, to 6.3 thousand tons.
Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NZF) and Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Works (ZZF) increased silicomanganese production by 15.2%, to 559.4 thousand tons.
NZF, ZZF and Kramatorsk Ferroalloy Plant (KFZ) decreased ferromanganese output by 18.4%, to 86.5 thousand tons. KFZ was idle.
Pokrov and Marganets Mining and Processing Works decreased manganese concentrate production by 6.8%, to 1.44 million tons. MGOK produced 469.3 thousand tons, down by 0.2%, and PGOK – 974.02 thousand tons, down by 9.8%.
PGOK also produced 213.28 thousand tons of iron ore sinter, up by 47.9%. (Ukrainian metal)
