In 2023, Ukraine produced 210.42 thousand tons of ferroalloys, down by 57.4% YoY.

According to the Ukrainian Association of Ferroalloy Manufacturers, silicomanganese production dropped by 57.1%, to 189.35 thousand tons, ferromanganese – by 59.2%, to 10.55 thousand tons, ferrosilicon – by 54.5%, to 10.49 thousand tons, and metallic manganese – 60-fold, to 0.03 thousand tons.

Exports dropped by 4.9%, to 344.2 thousand tons valued at $297.6 million, down by 48.9%.

The main importer was Poland accounting for 52.8% in monetary terms, followed by Turkiye (14.1%) and the Netherlands (8.5%). (Ukrainian metal)
