In 2013 Azovstal Iron and Steel Works increased its rolled metal output by 1%, to 4.2 million tons, as compared with 2012.
In 2013 the works decreased its steel output by 2.6%, to 4.5 million tons, and pig iron production by 4.4%, to 3.8 million tons.
In December 2013 the company produced 314 thousand tons of rolled metal, 333 thousand tons of steel and 286 thousand tons of pig iron.
In 2012 the works produced 4.168 million tons of rolled metal, down by 22%, as compared with 2011. Steel production dropped by 17.7%, to 4.593 million tons, and the pig iron output decreased by 17.2%, to 4.026 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
