In January-August rolled metal supplies to Ukrainian market decreased by 15.6%, to 3.892 million tons, year on year. The imports volume decreased by 16%, to 926 thousand tons.
Imports share was 23.8% in contrast to 23.7% in January-August 2012.
Rolled wire and galvanized steel supplies increased by 12.6% and 7.9% respectively.
Compared to the 8 months of 2012, the following positions saw a decrease in supplies: angles (by 23.7%), channel (by 5.5%), hot-rolled sheet (by 4.9%), cold-rolled sheet (by 4.8%), reinfrocement steel (by 0.2%). (Ukrainian metal)
