In the first 10 months of 2011 Ukraine’s steel scrap exports decreased by 21.8% YoY to 674,000 tons. In October alone Ukraine’s scrap exports decreased by 11% compared to September to 91,300 tons.
In the first 10 months of the current year Ukraine’s scrap imports increased 13.5 times compared to January to October 2010 to 104,200 tons. (Steel Orbis)
