In 2015 Ukraine exported 1212.55 thousand tons of ferrous scrap, up by 29.4% or 31.5% YoY, depending on the comparison base, valued at $295.19 million or $289.84 million.
At the same time Ukraine imported 2.689 thousand tons of scrap worth $2.79 million, down by 90.5% and by 81.5% YoY respectively.
The main suppliers of ferrous scrap to Ukraine were Turkey (93.56%) and Moldova (3.15%), with them being the largest importers as well (78.45% and 19.27% respectively). (Ukrainian metal)
