In January to October period of the current year Ukraine registered a 13.7% increase YoY in its long steel product imports to 356,300 tons. In October alone Ukraine’s long steel product imports increased by 28.9% compared to September to 52,200 tons.
In the given period Ukrainian exports of long steel products decreased by 0.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2010 to 4.777 million tons. In October alone Ukraine’s long steel product exports decreased by 14.6% MoM to 470,000 tons. (Steel Orbis)
