In January Ukraine exported $0.34 million worth of ferrous scrap, with imports on the level of $0.5 million.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main exporter of this scrap was Turkey.
In December 2015 Ukraine exported $9.57 million worth of ferrous scrap, while imports reached $0.38 million.
In 2015 ferrous scrap exports from Ukraine totaled $290.33 million, with imports on the level of $2.79 million. (Ukrainian metal)
