According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in June Ukraine’s crude steel production will increase by 2.5% compared to April to 3.07 million tons.
According to Metallurgprom’s forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will reach 2.5 million tons in June, while production of rolled steel will rise to 2.73 million tons.
In April Ukraine’s crude steel production decreased by 3% compared to March to 2.995 million tons. In January to April crude steel output in Ukraine increased by 5.8% compared to the same period of 2010, climbing to 11.631 million tons. (SteelOrbis)
