For April this year Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal Electrometallurgical Works (DSS) has posted a 5.6% MoM drop in its electrical steel production to 34,000 tons, which is up by 9.7% compared to April 2010. The company’s output of finished steel went down by 15.4% compared to March declining to 22,000 tons.
In January to April of the current year DSS saw a 19.8% growth in its electrical steel production compared to January to April 2010, rising to 139,000 tons.
Dneprospetsstal’s activities cover the design, manufacture and distribution of stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing and alloy structural steel products. DSS’ products are used in the manufacture of machinery parts, tools for metal and alloy machining, seamless pipes and bearings. (SteelOrbis)
