The Ukrainian Association of Scrap Exporters (UAEM) has asked the president to completely veto the bill on prolongation of scrap export duty of 30 euro per ton for two years.
The association believes that the bill contradicts the current legislation of Ukraine and international agreements, signed and ratified by Ukraine.
According to these agreements, the scrap duty should be 10 euro per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
