Pobuzhye Ferronickel Plant intends to resume purchases of nickel ore in Ukraine.
According to the company director Oleg Bespalov, the ore will be bought from Zapadno-Loschevskoye deposits in Nikolayev region.
The first batch will arrive on July 15.
The company will buy 25% of its need locally, the rest, as previously, will be purchased from Guatemala.
Ukrainian ore has higher iron contents and lower nickel contents compared with that mined in Guatemala. (Ukrainian metal)
