In January-April Russia imported 3374 tons of copper pipes for conditioning, up by 6% YoY and by 10% from the 2015 level.

According to the customs statistics, 23% of pipes were imported from Greece, up 2.8-fold YoY. The average price on the Russian border in April was $7305 per tons.

Serbia supplied 22% of pipes, down by 38%, at the price of $7114 per ton.

The shares of Germany (down by 18%, $8016), Finland (up by 5%, $7421), China (down by 10%, $7444) and Uzbekistan (up by 40%, $7138) are roughly 10% each.

On the local market such pipes are sold at $7500 per ton (without VAT). (Ukrainian metal)
