The department of subsoil use of the Siberian Federal District has allowed to put the first stage of the mine named after Titov in operation.
The mine, a part of PMH-Ugol, is situated near the city of Leninsk-Kuznetsk, Kemerovo region.
The construction of the first stage was finished in May. The company has already started mining coking coal there.
Investments in the mine construction totaled 12.5 billion rubles. The project capacity of the first stage is 1.8 million tons of coal per year. This year it is planned to mine 1 million tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
