In October the Northern Railroad transported 5.2 million tons of cargo, up by 2.3% YoY.
In 10 months throughput grew by 5.2% YoY, to 54.6 million tons.
In particular, the railroad transported 6.6 million tons of ferrous metals, up by 1.3% YoY, 4.2 million tons of coal, up by 31.1%, and 2. 9 million tons of non-ferrous ore, up by 1.4%.
At the same time transportation of iron ore decreased by 8.4%, to 0.8 million tons, and ferrous scrap – by 4.1%, to 0.7 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
