In August Russia exported 8.9 thousand tons of corrosion-resistant steel scrap and waste valued at $10 million, down by 24.3% YoY and by 2.8% respectively.
According to the customs statistics, in January-August exports totaled 73.9 thousand tons valued at $82 million, up by 28.3% and by 47.8% YoY respectively.
Scrap with the nickel contents of 8% and more accounts for 75% of exports. (Ukrainian metal)
