In January-August Russia imported 29 thousand tons of corrosion-resistant seamless steel pipes valued at $118 million, up 2.4-fold and 1.5-fold YoY respectively.
According to the customs statistics, this is the record-high result in 8 months in the past few years.
Kazakhstan was the main supplier with the share of 54%. It was followed by China (25%) and Ukraine (6%). (Ukrainian metal)
