In January-August Ukrainian customers received 3.138 million tons of rolled steel, with 948.5 thousand tons, or 30.23%, accounting for imports.
In 8 months of 2017 the local market consumed 2.998 million tons, with 827.5 thousand tons, or 27.6% imported.
Thus, the increase in rolled metal consumption reached 4.64%, while that of imports – 14.62%.
The shares of the flat rolled metal and bars were 48.36% and 48.62% respectively as opposed to 58.15% and 48.36% last year. (Ukrainian metal)
