In January-July rolled metal consumption on the domestic market grew by 5.27% YoY, to 2399.5 thousand tons.
At the same time imports increased by 13.03%, to 785.9 thousand tons.
Ukrainian companies supplied some 1.74 million tons of metal to the domestic market, up by 36 thousand tons.
The share of flat rolled metal in the imports was 49.15%, that of bars – 47.97%, unlike last year – 59.05% and 40.03% respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
