Electrozinc is preparing to commission a new absorber, the final part of the sulfur acid shop reconstruction. The machine will be connected to the technological line during the scheduled repair in September.
The new machine will let the company reach sulfuric anhydride absorption and gas purification level of 99.99%.
The height of the absorber is 13.5 meters and the diameter is 4.5 meters.
The old absorber will be dismantled.
The total cost of the project is 186 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
