According to the agreement between UGMK and the regional authorities, on April 30, Electrozinc will shut down its rotary shop and hydrometallurgical shop that have been operating since December 2018 on unloading the unfinished production.
The work to prepare the manufacturing capacities of Electrozinc for shut down has been complete.
23 thousand tons of sulfide zinc concentrate have been shipped to Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works. 38.2 thousand tons of clinker and 24 thousand tons of unfinished products have been shipped to various copper plants.
From May 31, labor agreements with Electrozinc employees will be cancelled. (Ukrainian metal)
